Although it is usually warm or hot in Trento in late June, it is advisable to bring an umbrella and a light jacket or sweater – and something heavier if you intend to hike in the nearby mountains.

Celebrations for the Patron Saint Vigilio

During the week of UMAP 2009, a major festival for the Trentino province will be held in Trento: celebrations for the patron saint Vigilio.

During the evenings, Trento will be transformed into a medieval town, with traditional costumes, artifacts, food, and drink.
