  • New Paradigms for Adaptive Interaction (half-day)

    This tutorial will be a somewhat adapted version of a recent course at CHI 2009 in April, so a good idea of what it will be like is given by the web page of the CHI course.

    Note added on June 6th: It turns out that the week of UMAP is the week during which Krzysztof Gajos will have to move from Redmond (Microsoft Research) to Cambridge (Harvard). So the material that Krzysztof prepared over a period of several months in collaboration with Anthony Jameson will be presented by Anthony, who gave the tutorial with Krzysztof at CHI 2009 and who has given numerous tutorials in this general area over the past 10 years at IJCAI, CHI, UM, AH, IUI, and other conferences.
